UPDATES:
April 23, 2012 - We will be talking to the resort this week to confirm our wedding details!! My dress is in and I'll be seeing it later this week! Yay! It's time to order the guys' pants and David's suit (time to break out the tape measure). Bills are becoming due now so it's time for us to pony up! David's having a hard time picking the style of wedding band he likes so we are going to do some shopping next weekend.
March 13, 2012 - Chasing down RSVPs! About 50% of them are back but the date has already passed. David and I have resolved that if we don't get a definitive answer by early April, we may have to go ahead and book reservations and such with what numbers we have. We are also meeting with our photographers Erica and JP Tait next week (excited!!). We are literally 99 days away from the wedding today!!
February 17, 2012 - Almost done with the few of my DIY projects! Secured my wedding band (David hasn't been able to find one perfect for him yet, so we're still looking). Invites sent and many have already booked! I am SO pumped up for this now that I am seeing people really RSVP. We're shopping for the flower girl dress tomorrow (I can't wait to see how sweet Emma will look!) Basically, at this moment we can't really plan much more until we have a good hold of the numbers/guest count. Here's to hoping we get some more RSVPs soon so that we can reserve the right number of seats and people aren't left standing!
January 14, 2012 - Happy New Years everyone!! David and I rang in the new year together (he didn't have to work! Yay!) FINALLY have the bridesmaid dresses, they are in transit as I type this and will be arriving sometime next week. I'm in the middle of doing a few DIY projects (not much, I'm not every good at it hahah). Dave and I will also be looking at wedding bands shortly (I'm so excited!).
December 10, 2011 - Things haven't been progressing as quickly as I thought. Tracking down the right colour for our bridesmaids' dresses is driving me nuts!! I'm itching to get this done with!! In other news, our invitations are back and I LOVE them!! After we finish the rest of our order with Pam, I will be writing a full review. We will be sending these out our invites sometime in the new year. Honeymoon is booked too. I need to renew my passport this year and then get a start on decor (an all that delicious detailed stuff) and our wedding bands. We are about 7 months away!! I can't wait!
November 12, 2011 - I FOUND MY DRESS!! I am incredibly lucky to have had the ladies come with me be soooo amazing!! Everything was pleasantly unexpected. I thought certain dresses would look good o me (which ended up looking terrible) and vice verse. I never expected to have "the moment" but I totally did when my own MOTHER made me cry. <3 I can't wait to see my dress again at the fitting!
Engagement photos are back and they are PHENOMENAL! I couldn't be happier about it~ I've posted a review for Delmore Creative Photography. Also, invitations are being made this week!! Yay! Progress!! I'm so excited~ I'm still back and forth between the bridesmaid dresses, which is becoming an increasing source of frustration. Will be booking our honeymoon after my next payday too~ Things are finally moving along!

October 24, 2011 - First dress trip went so amazing. I may have to go back for another one! Deposit put down on the invites and I am awaiting swatches for the bridesmaids' attire. After finalizing these, I will be working out the details of the itinerary, decor and honeymoon~
October 1, 2011 - Engagement photo session done! I can't wait to see the results! I feel excited and nervous at the same time!! Waiting on measurements before ordering the bridesmaids dresses. Up next, the quest for the dress, bridesmaids attire and formal invitations!!
August 29, 2011 - Photographer BOOKED!! Oh my gosh, what a nightmare journey it was for us to finally get a great photographer! Twice we were ready to sign and both times they were unavailable. Then we found a few that were RIDICULOUSLY priced and didn't know whether to cry or laugh at the cost. Finally we found JP and Erica from Tait Photography!! Totally CAN'T WAIT for the wedding! This was a HUGE stressor for me and I feel sooooo relieved to have it checked off my list~
August 18, 2011 - Save the Date video complete!! Formal invitations to follow! We had a lot of fun making this together~ =) Registered our wedding domain! Created Bed Bath & Beyond Registry and signed the contract with the resort! Fun part of the planning begins!! Next steps: Confirm photography, engagement shoot, and bridesmaid's attire.

August 11, 2011 - Looking over contract with the resort, asking some final questions and prices before signing. Updated honeymoon registry, will be having a registry at Bed Bath and Beyond next week. Wedding party chosen. Working on our secret Save the Date project~
July 20, 2011 - Resort booked. Wedding reservation requested. Updated Destination, Wedding, Honeymoon and Wedding Party pages on the site.
July 15, 2011 - Wedding style decided! We're going for a Destination Wedding! Travel Agent chosen, contacted and we are in the planning process. I've finished designing our monogram too! Once we settle on a resort and lock in our date, I will be getting the Save the Dates out, choosing our wedding party and going dress shopping! The Destination Wedding was originally David's idea and I love it so much! Can't wait!
